Fra welcomed everybody to our first in person AGM since Covid.
The committee objectives for 2022 were to focus on building the club back to pre-Covid levels, focus on training schedules and races and to give back to members in terms of subsidising club activities.
In 2022 we had a large number of new club members, many of whom completed their first triathlons. The club had been successful in the Covid Resilience fund and these funds were used to subsidise club activities, training and clothing. We invested significant amounts in replacing old equipment including one new trailer (thanks to Fergal Cunningham), maker buoys (Peter Tomany), design new club logo/branding and re-build the website and social media sites (thanks to Ian Kavanagh, Conor McCormick and in particular David Jones). This is a work-in-progress and further work will be needed in the coming years to ensure Setanta continues to grow.
Fra thanked the committee for their work during the year and mentioned also Conor McCormick, who had steered the club through the difficult Covid period. Minutes was circulated to Club Members.
